HO Alt Question.. How Many Amps Do I Need?

I've got an '01 Intrepid R/T 3.5L with a stock 130 amp alt. I'm adding a power hungry Brutus 2400 watt rms amp for 2 American Bass XFL 12's as well as a 100x4 Sony amp. I'm curious if a 240 amp HO alternator will be enough or if I need to consider a 320 amp alternator? I've got a stock battery that I just purchased a few months ago, but it's nothing special.

Should I go with a 240 amp alt and a battery in the trunk? If so, what's a good brand of battery for the trunk? I believe I need an AGM Group 31 type but I've seen 34 as well, so I'm not sure if more is better in this case. I don't really know what I'm doing, which is why I'm here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I found this alternator here...

Mechman High Output Dodge Intrepid Alternator

Any advice would help. Thanks!

Also, Should I think about a 16 volt HO Alternator and 16 volt batts? I plan to ditch the Brutus and get a VFL 150.1 someday and I hear they can run at 1/4ohm and do well at 16 volts. Maybe I'm mistaken but I like to plan ahead
