Hmmm ... Phase plug or not ??

Rainbow Profi 2 way component set ..... 6.5's mounted in stock door locations down low and forward ..... So , would you go phase plug , or NO phase plug ?

do you think that it wil help your overall sound? It'll be different car to car too... unless you're building kicks to rainbows specs, which it looks like your not.

I say get em, and if you don't like them.. selling them shouldn't be too terribly hard.

Well, without seeing response graphs it's hard to say.

I would probably go for the phase plug version though......should help some thermally as well as better the woofer's top end, which would come in handy in a 2-way.

Profi phase plugs have the best midrange clarity, but dont offer the midbass impact of the Kickbass option(which has nice midrange in itself)
