hmm, what would sound more clean? 2 10's or 4 8's if done in the right boxes? or is it not really comparable?

it's more the box than the subs. some 8's have actual mechanical issues playing too low, but we're talking about low notes not found in even most hip-hop. i pound 3-6 mafia late nite tip on this 8w6, and it gets down. i do have to watch it on the lower notes. it will bottom out fairly easily in the ported box.

boy, 8 of those little beasts off like 2500 watts would sure turn heads. Thats almost as much cone area as 4x 12s

The only problem I'd have with that much is my truck keeping up with all the watts but I'm sure I could figure something out.

Is it just me or is 3.8 cubes seem a little big for 4 of them? I thought specs were .6cubes per sub ported?
