I need some help guys.I m having a problem with my tweeter and speaker making hissing noise.The hissing sound can be heard quite loud especially frm the tweeter even when the engine has not been started.The hissing sound started as soon as i switch the cars ignition to ON without starting the engine yet.The HU is not ON yet.Sometimes the hissing 'electric sound' starts steadily and ends with a pop sound..sometimes theres no pop after the hissing sound sound.the hissing sound comes on and off..sometimes theres no hissing sound at all but then it comes again..
my setup is default OEM HU >> pre amp >> amp >> component >> sub..
At first i thought it was the pre amp causing the hissing so I tried to isolate the preamp and set it to HU >> hi lo convertor >> amp ..but still there is hissing noise..so i thought it must be the amp..but after swapping amp,theres still hissing noise..
And is it normal if theres hissing sound when the RCA plug/jack just barely touch the pre amp RCA?..becoz this is causing the same hssing sound..so i thought it might have to do with the pre amp..or is it got to do with grounding? ts kinda odd but this problem started to happen after i refill the battery water.
Any help guys?
