Highs thru the sub

im not sure if im wired wrong or if i got somethin on the amp tuned wrong or what but in certain songs u can hear some of the highs try to come thru the sub (if u turn the highs off). shouldnt the sub only hit bass notes? not try to put music thru? i got 1 15 kicker l7.

the amp is set to LP. not ALL the highs are coming thru just some of the lower toned voices n such.

i think my amps' lpf is at the max of like 200, but my hu is set to i think 80hz and my hpf is at 90hz

it only happens on a couple songs... like the beginning of that song keep on pushin by bun b where its just the voice talking u can hear it thru the sub with the highs turned off. i turned the lpf all the way down and stil have the problem, not as bad but still a lil bit.

guess yout LPF just is not intelligent enough to discern Bun B's voice.

Ever thought that maybe that voice track might have frequencies in it below what your LPF is set at?
