So ive just installed a dual 10" JL W3 setup in my car. I had to do it the slightly "ghetto" way, by splicing into rear speaker wires. But this is causing a lot of higher range stuff to come through the Subwoofers. It sounds good inside the car, but pop the trunk and its just a bunch of noise. I'm using a Precision Power PC2100 amp and a Scolsche LOC spliced into the rear speaker wires. Should my amp be able to tune out these unwanted frequencies?
And before anyone says it, I cannot use an aftermarket head unit in my car.
Thanks for any input!
