high roll surround - like tc uses and the rlp

I am in love with the look of this.

something about the tall rubber surround on the tc and rlp subs gives me a sub bonner.

what other subs are avalabe with this surround ?

also I spotted robot selling 12" cones on ebay with the tall foam surround

but I dont think its the same thing as on the tc / audiopulse subs yes / no ?

i know the 10's i got from ssackett have that type of surround, however one coil has gone open loop and getting ahold of him has proven difficult so i have been waiting a couple months... i want it to match my other or i would just go to psi

The ones robot sells are rubber like the ones you want and not foam. I Used them on my TC 5400's

I those are sexy. Unfourtunally they also have more of a tendency to tear easier than the standard style. I've had many of each style.

The foam surrounds on my Eclipse SW9122s cracked after a few years so Imma see how the rubber ones last. Robot(they rebuilt my SW9122s) said the surrounds will be fine as long as you don't overexcursion it.

OP team PSI can build you subs to whatever you like, Robot Underground on eBay can too but they no longer provide warranty for repairs so you'll have to pa for the recone should anything happen.

It's louder for sure, as far as SQ it needs a slightly bigger enclosure than the Ti to perform right, the cone area on mine is bigger than the titanium cone so that should help the deebeez.

Titanium cone is super sexy though, it ain't easy to work with titanium.
