hey db whats the difference between this and the hk4000?
yea im not going to run 16v in a daily vehicle ever, too much troublegoliath is regulated which is a decent thing to have with an amp that large for daily use. it is a little less likely to go bad/have bad things happen due to voltage/current issues and it makes its real power in the typical 13 v range rather than 16-17 v
im not worried about 300 watts that high up in the power rangeand in the article in car audio mag, july i think, the goliath didn't do its rated power, it was a close 4700 which is plenty for anyone imo but still not its rated power
yea i either wanted a colossus ir goliath, and why not have the extra headroom and do it like i want it the first timeI run the XX Colossus II and am very happy with it on my 06XXX12. Was benched at 33XX locally plenty pow for me.
the blue adds deebeez, pure sexiness for me![]()
Cool.
Which mag was this out of curiosity, "Car Audio and Electronics"? I want to read the article //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Even though I dont believe everything I read.... PAS rated the MA HK4000D to put out 4800 watts rms on 14v. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gifand in the article in car audio mag, july i think, the goliath didn't do its rated power, it was a close 4700 which is plenty for anyone imo but still not its rated power
