i've read that they are which is why i bought the v900hc even though i only need ~1500watts. can anyone confirm? running a 220a alt and battery in rear should i still have more then enough power?

but im not sure about runnin it at 17 volts... someone else would have to chip in there

Visonik does rate their amps at 17 v.

nah, i'm not gonna run at 17. it should however see a constant 14 without drops.

Gonna go group 31 Y/t in rear and probably a 34 underhood, and 220a-260a alt(depending on cost). Just curious. I know i'll get enough for my 2 claw mags outta it but possible upgrades, 4mags, is where i'm concerned

EDIT, thanks chev, any link to figure out the equation on power loss per volt? couldn't find anything like that searching here.

Usually they give you power ratings for both 14.4 and 17v, like ma audio does. (Similar if not the same amps.) What's it rated at 3200 watts if I remember right?
