High pitched interference?

so i have this high pitched interference sound whenever i turn the ignition on. it's not loud but definetely audible when the volume is turned down. It goes away when the ignition is off. I can't figure out what could be the cause of this? any input?

setup is Diamond 4 channel amp with 2-channel knukonceptz rca cables split at the amp 4 ways. I just recently started to have all these intereference problems. it's really frustrating!!

ok just did the mod for Pioneer headunits stickied above and it didn't work. Have a solid ground, RCA's away from power. btw it's not an alternator whine my car isn't started, it's just in the ACC position.

I traced it back once again to the RCA connection at the amp. On one of the channel inputs, it seems it's not getting a solid/direct connection with the RCA cable. When I move the head around static would cut in and out and if I held it at a slight angle, the whine would go away. If I leave it as is the whine would come back. Any remedies for this or do i have a borked RCA input?

which head unit do you have? theres a sticky about alternator whine.

Its the ground on your RCA making that noise. When you mess with it, it goes away.

common problem with 4 channel amps

Easiest fix is a ground loop isolator!!
can you elaborate how i use a ground loop isolator on my RCA?

i have wedged a piece of cardboard in between two RCA's at the amp (making the problem RCA cable connect at an angle) and it seems to have quieted the whine. an ultra temporary ghetto way to fix this until i figure out what to do...
