Wiring for 69 Nova

Hey All,

I am starting to wire my system together. I started to wire the HU today and noticed that I only have one +12 yellow wire and no other power wire for the remote wire on the deck. So I wired the yellow and red together from the deck and then wired that to the one yellow 12 volt wire that I did have. However, I do not think this is the correct way. Should I just wire the power from the fusebox or what? and when I run a power cord for the amplifier should I wire that to the fusebox too or what. I have never used an amplifier for speakers so I'm new to that whole part. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

If I were you for your turn on wire for your HU find a fuse thats hot when the ignition is on and dead when off. 2nd, if you plan on amping your speakers, for your amp power wire you connect that to your battery.

The fuse panel under the dash will have several male connects for various aux accesories...Find one with a test light ...and use a standard 250 Female connector and plug it it...simple clean and straight forward...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

k thanks for that information. and for my power wire for my subwoofer amp i connect that to my battery as well right?
