u say u worked at a Ford dealer if u dont mind me askin what did u do.. sales or did u work on the cars/trucks that came in?My opinion from working at a Ford dealer is stay away from it. Those explorers aren't known for their longevity. If it was a Crown Vic or something then sure, but these things have poor engines, transmissions, front ends, etc.
I'm probably getting an 89 Caprice Classic with 300k on it for my winter beater next year and that doesn't worry me one bit, but it all depends what the vehicle is. Some can run almost forever regardless of miles, but others can't.
