high level input feature?

I want to hook up a kicker ZX400.1 to my factory HU. I was wondering can i use the high level inputs on the amp, then tap into the speaker wires in my vehical and use that signal instead of running RCA's to the amp.

That way i can use the amp without installing a aftermarket HU becuase my factory HU doesnt have RCA preamp outputs.

and it will work jsut like im using RCA's and an aftermarket HU?

also will i still have to use the remote turn on for the amp, or will the amp automaticaly turn on when it sences a signal from the high level inputs
