High End Sound system for a droptop?

whatsup guys.

Im tryna help a friend with a really good sound system for his 99 eclipse spyder turbo and were trying to figure out what to use for his car

His car is loud, it has a turbo and an exhaust that drones.

with that said, I decided on using crescendo amplifiers (the BC2000 for subs, and Concerto C1100.4 for speakers)

what speakers should I go with and also what subs ?

for the subs he wants them to be LOUD!, we were thinking of 2 10" subs or possibly 2 12's if they fit good.

we were thinking of the latest gen alpine type r subs (1k rms each) or some kicker L7's im not sure maybe some SSA GCON if theres enough money to play with, maybe some sundown SA 10s or 12s.

but now what about the speakers? what speakers should we use? keep in mind, drop top down and loud car.

he heard my hybrid audio imagines and REALLY wants to get it but im telling him not sure how it will sound in his droptop car. so then I thought maybe of going with some crescendo pro audio speakers and bullet tweeters?

budget is around 2 grand to play with

That's why I'm here to get opinions

I have a budget and open to opinions for the best to get with that budget

Want clear sound that can get loud and SPL subs

Okay I guess not high end but a really good system

You can get quite the sound system for 2 grand. But that would be almost as much as the car is worth.

Does he plan on keeping for a long while?

Yeah he bought it from a friend with only 40k original miles for a cheap price.

And what does that mean? Most people buy crappy cars on this forum like old school beaters and jeeps and stuff for cheap to put like 6 grand into an audio system

The incriminator comps get loud cheap then u have more cash to go fast just my 2 cents
