High Density Fiberboard ??

Does anyone know where i can find any of this stuff so i can possibley make a box, all i hear boxes made of out is MDF. Is that better than HDF or what. Can someone fill me in on this please.

Menards, Home Depot, and Lowes all carry MDF and HDF.

The difference is really laid out plainly in the name; the HDF is more dense, thus less air leakage is possible.

Generally speaking, MDF is adequete for car audio speaker enclosures.
