Have a 1000W hifoniks mono amp hifoniks1000D. I pulled fuse out to see if it was broken because im not getting any output to my sub. Just bought a kicker Screenshot_20230624_172532_Best Buy.jpg

Dang as i was getting this picture i just seen there is a slide or something to adjust impedance. LawlZ!
Let me reconnect my hifoniks and see then

I installed my alpine mrp-m1000 and just found out that its not 1ohm stable. I've been running my speaker at a 1ohm load. This ish hits. But exactly what is going to happen if i continue this?

So i went and got another speaker same kind. But only difference is instead of another 10" i got me a 12er. I can do this cant i? Im about to wire it inside the same enclosure. Going to do parallel series so i can get that 1000W power of the 2ohm load from the amp. Should i custom make a box instead? I dont even if this 12 is going to fit inside this dual ported box for my 10s

But back to the thread. My hifoniks amp when i removed the fuse. As i was putting the fuse back in. It was creating sparks. Is that bad? Or was it just because power was still present?

No.

Okay cool then. So i put my 12er and 10 together in the same enclosure and oh my goodness. Sweet sweet bass. So sweet that my lights are dimming when the bass hits. Maybe my gain is a little to high. I want to tune this sucker perfect but dont have the proper equipment. Can i tune using some math and my multimeter?

You're better off having 2 of the same size with the same impedance. You're going to have phase issues. Some bass might sound good, other notes won't. And the dimming lights is due to lack of electrical power, not more output from the bass.

So the speakers are the exact same with same impedance. Only difference is the size

Yes, the power wires' colors don't match from the dash to the new harness. However, I tested them and the wire I'm treating as the constant 12v is...
