They installed it best buy and mentioned the converter to me when the job was being done.

bad idea.....pretty much I am the only one that has a xxv colossus.....Hifonics XXV colossus is a god dam beast....doesn't heat up and pound the hell out of this amp all the time....I hate kicker....over priced crap in my perspective...the xxv colossus puts out more power then that kicker I bet...anyways good luck with that kicker...

personally i would get the kicker i have 4 of them and i like them one of my kx2500.1 is a modded from kicker it was made for pavis pastrana my friend know him and he got the amp and then sold it to me is a black version of the kx2500.1 and modded and is 1 ohm kicker stable and it pushes my sub very good and i dont have the cplete charging and the gains are allt eh way down whit no bassbost because like i said my charging is not complete.



but even that ur gonna get the regular 1 ohm for it will be a piece of cake as long as you get the charging system done you will be alright with no problems is a beast of an amp and personally i feel like is better than the colossus.

i heard alot of problems with the colossus like going into protect mode and some cases of underatting that some people here says that is pushing around 3800 rms??? i relly dont think that.

BTW - wtf is a colossus final edition. there is the XX colossus and the XX colossus II. the XXV tops them both.
