Hifonics xxv Colossus Vs. Kicker zx2500.1

I'm seriously considering purchasing one of the two amps. Some ppl say this, some ppl say that so I would like your input as to which is a better amp overall. If you have any other amps in mind please let me know. I have 2 kicker ds12L5 4 ohms speakers. Please help.

Get the Hifonics 2 x 600W @ 4-Ohms XXV Colossus. The others are just WAY overkill for L5's.

id go with the colossus...as long as it the final edition or the 1's from 05ish. the newer 1's are smaller and shity. if not the kicker will win the vote

If you have the budget I would with out a doubt go with the Kicker...

The ZX2500.1 is a very very solid amplifier. It sounds good and has a good efficiency. Plus it is going to be more power than the Hifonics...

they say final edition on under colossus. go to realm of excuresion.com an go 2 amp guts. u'll see the diff between the new 1's and the older 1's. how long is the colossus that u can get????

Two speakers at 4 ohms wired in parallel is 2 ohms. Which is perfect for that kicker...

The SX Series doesn't have anything as powerful as the ZX2500.1. Also, what you are really paying for in the SX Series is the fancy digital display and extra DSP options which you won't ever need or use...
