None... look at ssa, DC, or aq for good budget spl subs

I figured I'd get a response like this. I know these are not the lastest and greatest subs, but I still wanted to know which one is better? They can't be that bad because I've seen some of them beat guys with way better subs at local spl comps. They had those guys with that high dollar equipment looking mad. I was one of these guys. One guy went and told one of judges that I was in the wrong class and that my amp was rated for more power. The guy looked my amp up on the web, and the snitch still went home a sore loser. I know this doesn't count for much because some local guys just have bad installs.

Answer this, what is louder than 6 brz12d4 ported in 12 cubes getting 400 watts a piece for $330?

If you have the space just add more of the subs you have now.......Cone area is why you have done well at your local comps.....Add more cone area or put more power on what you have now......

I'd go CVR if there was absolutely no other options due to cheapness. (2 12" for $100 at Bestbuy, 2 15 for like $130)

Are you sure about the Cvr? I ask because a few people were saying the Crunch gpv12d4 is better than the Cvr, and the Brz is almost the same sub?

idk if I read this wrong or not because im pretty tired but you got beat when you were using high dollar equipment by cheap subs? So what was your "high dollar equipment?" Just wondering..

No, I had beat the high dollar stuff with some Cvrs. Its nothing to brag about because they didn't know what they were doing. I've ran high dollar stuff before, but right I'm just looking for a decent budget setup. I already have 2 Elevation Audio subs that are probably the same level as the Sa12. They haven't been hooked up yet, but I wanted more cone area.
