My fi btl blew so i figured i'd test this thing out during i get the fi fixed. Its rated at 2400 rms. I was actually pretty impressed with this thing, but the btl is still better.

sql wise, i can tell you its better than the btl, but it cant ever get as loud as the btl. pretty nice sub for the price.

i actually bought it just to test it out. i wanted to try something comparable to the btl, which the hifonics is suppose to be 2400 rms @ 1 ohm and btl is 2000 rms @ 1 ohm. actually pushing around 2700 rms @ 1 ohm to both subs, but i gotta say, hifonics olm2412 dont compare to the fi btl, even with boxes built to specs.

power acoustik sl-3400d, fuse rating is 150 Amps, it does a little over 2700 watts rms.

its doesnt it does close to 2200 at almost 18v... so you realy dont have more than like 1500rms if that...not sure if you've seen the test of that amp but it doesnt do ANYWHERE near rated power, not even at .5ohm

Both in their optimal boxes the Hifonics Olyumpus is LOUDER then a BTL/MT

The OV1-5500D with 15+ volts at 1.1ohm or close did like 2400

thats was with 2 16v powermaster batteries

rms,, peak is a garbage number they make up while spraying the board with freon and using mad voltages
