Hifonics ****ing Sucks

Im tired soo. had the 15 in my cartook it out to put my new 18SX in place of it. before we even played anymusic my gay friend said lets put that gay remote bass boost controller on, so iu plug it in and turn it up. i was dissappointed wit the sound so im sitting there turning up the gain and nothin, sounds like good speaker bass, the only time it got even remotely loud is when i turn the remote bass up, so i did and bumped it like that for an hour, we decide to take the 18 oput because it sucked, we put the 15 back in and it was the same thing shitty bass, then a light goes off in our heads, and we say the remote bass must be doing something, we unplug it and ba,. louyd again, so we take the 15 and put in the 18, it was loud, but now its blown because of before when we needed to turn everything up to hear it. so im stuck with a BRAND NEW blown 18 SX.

Has neone else with a hifonics TX 1505 notice the gay bass remote thing do that. Also, whats the warranty on the SX if there is one, i dont have ne papers for the SX either, i think im fuked.

i dont care about spelling im tired pissed, and fuk.

I might complain to Hifonics because this is BS.

That's not the point. I never run bass boost. I hooked up that remote bass boost knob, That's what fuked everything up.

I'm fuking pissed. Since when does a remote bass boost controller just destroy the overall sound of a speaker? Unplugged; loud and clear, Plugged in; Serious decrease in sound only gets a lil loud when you turn the knob up past 1/4 way even then its a lil distorted.

you shouldve reset the gain before unplugging the remote. i have noticed that the remote bass is kinda funny on the hifonics amps.. the bass boost on the amp still adjusts output, but then the know just adjusts that more? i dont know. i keep it unplugged and use my sub level controller.

sorry to hear abotu your luck, but you have to remember how easy it is to do somethin liek this.. realize that your gain is way up before you do somethin like that.

That sucks, hate to say it but it kind of sounds like it was your fault. Still feel bad, I know the feeling when you blow a brand new piece of equipment.

Bass boost sucks, remote gain = teh man.

The hifonics have bass boost knobs, not gain controls

At least my bx1500d did, i'm assuming they kept the same concept for the newer amps.
