Hifonics Gen XX Colossus Issues

My amp seems to go into protect around level 34-35/62 when I'm bumping pretty hard. I know my subs and amp can be pushed a lot more, they continue to get extremely loud when I move the volume from 32-36 and know there is plenty more to go around. My voltage stays very high when I play it loud as well. My overload light on my amplifier flickers a little bit (adjusted the gains today), but isn't that bad at all. It flickers when there is slight clipping and stays on when there is full clipping. My electrical system seems fine, but how in the heck can I get rid of the slight clipping and get rid of the protect mode crap. My amplifier isn't even warm, it's cool on the top, so I know it's not a heating issue. Could it be the 300 amp fuse or something by the amp? I'm just trying to think of anything that would throw it into protect. My subs move about a quarter to a third of an inch (not much at all) but get incredibly loud but I'd like them to get a lot louder. I don't think there is anything wrong with my amplifier, it seems to work alright, except for this protect crap.

OH one thing, I tried setting the gains with a dmm and it didn't work, I would get to about 70-90v at times when adjusting the gains and the amp continually went into protect. Even at 50-60v it when into protect at times. I checked the impedence on my subwoofer and the speaker terminal read 002 and would flicker to 001 then 002, so I'm pretty sure my wiring is all correct. I've been trying to set my gains by the clipping light, and for the most part it has worked well. I pretty much drive my line driver to it's max and have the gains on my amplifier at around 1/6 or so.

Well, If i eject my CD and put the cd back in, the amp shuts off, comes back on and is fine. Could improper fusing be the issue? Before my kinetik hc2400 i have a 200 amp fuse and after my main yellow top i have a 200 amp fuse, should I up those to 250 or 300?

I talked to Tuan, he's recommending running another run of 0 gauge or 2 for power and ground. He also suggested getting larger fuses, they are supposedly putting a lot of resistance on that wire.

might want to check ur remote leed, and make sure theres no problem there
Check a remote lead for protect mode?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif It's never gone into protect on anything under level 33.

What ways can you prevent the following:

Amplifier going into protect

Amplifier sending clipped signal

My voltage is fine, so I'm not sure if that's the reason for the clipping. I'm feeding my amp a nice solid signal from my audiocontrol overdrive. My main thought would be my 200 amp fuses creating resistance. I really have no idea, but it seems like my setup should get louder for over 3600 watts and 4 L7s, don't get me wrong, it's loud and hits hard as hell, but I have a strong feeling I'm only scratching the surface.
