hifonics failing. PLEASE READ

ok im selling my hifonics bx1500 because i have heard rumor of it break or malfunctioning some how? has anyone here had much truoble with these? i love it and dont wanna sell but honestly i NEED some trouble free bump when i get my car back from the painters. someon please give the low down.

No problems whatsoever with my Hifonics. Same deal with a buddy's. 95% of the problems you here is becuase the dummies treat their equipment like crap and something goes wrong.

I have installed 5 of those amps in daily drivers

2 in a Explorer

2 in a Monte Carlo SS

1 in a Blazer

all about 12+ months ago and they are still playing fine...

Mine still works. Sold my bx1000d and the guy is still happy with it.

Mine quit workin after 3 weeks, I never even touched the settings after the local audio shop did it perfectly... I have talked to MANY others too where the sub amp fails in no reason, in most cases its the protect mode coming on and never going off.. It is hit or miss, but like in EVERYTHING you get what you pay for.

about 500-600 with a single 4 ohm Voice Coil...

at 1 Ohm its more...

you should be fine with the sub but make sure not too touch their bass control at all. also be careful with the gains but just dont touch that bass contol!

dont call us dummies b/c we blew our hifonics amp...yea maybe i shoouldv been more carefull but im not a dummy...this amp is fine although there are better quality amps compared to this one that you will here a diffrence in sound...i got a audiobahn amp ratted at like 800watts@2ohms compared to 1000watts a 2ohms from the hifonics...the audiobahn blew hifonics away...the subs were getting much better power from the audiobahn...IMO i would say that the hifonics is built like crap...thats why its not that good of amp...
