Hifonics BX/TX1500D, Is It Junk??

Hey guys,

I've been running a Hifonics Titan 1500d with 2 12 inch Kicker L7s in a sealed box. It worked great for a few months, then turned bad. First of all, this amp is overrated 1500RMS, probably more like 1200-1300RMS. Anyway, the amp now turns itself into protect mode at around half volume, it works fine up until then. I've done some reading but can't find much, however what I've read relates to this very problem...except there arent any good responses. Is there anything I can do for this amp, and would it be worth to repair it?

i been running that titan with 1 10" L7 and its fine. my friend had 1 brutus 1200D to each 12" L7 and hes had it for almost a year. no problems. id say get a hold of maxxsonic.
