Hifonics BRZ Line ?

I'm shopping for amps, something to do around 1k @ 1 ohm , I couldn't find any actually "informational" reviews on these amps other then "OMG IT POUNDS".

Do these amps do rated power without clipping? Are they efficient? I read a few of them shutting off, is this a common issue? Any feedback is appreciated!

Efficient? No. They will do close to rated. I've had a couple Hifonics. They're ok. I've been looking around for about the same power. I'm thinking I'm going to throw a few more bucks at it and get a better amp. If you're looking for effiency I'd look at the Mmats line. They're expensive but if you can grab one used I've not heard one bad thing on them.

You get what you pay for. The lower costs amps may do rated, but are not efficient at all. The better names are going to be more efficient and tend to be underrated. MMATS and Arc Audio are supposed to be the most efficient around for decent prices.

for 150 bucks with 1k these are the amps i would pick over the brz in the order i like them
