Hifonics makes pretty **** good amps, I installed a Zeus(I think its called) series amp, and it worked really well in the application. Consumer was happy and thats all that counts in the end.

I have a Z8000 and love it. I have had HiFonic amps before back in the 80's and never have had a broblem with them. the price is right too.

i have a Hifonics Z500D and it pushed my friends subs pretty **** hard for 500 watts...it wasted his JBL 600 ont he same subs.

I have a Hifonics Z600 and it is awsome. I would Highly recommend them.

Now you guys are talking about the new kind of hifonics, but the good ones are the old ones, I'm talking the serie 7 and 8 I thinks one of the best amps ever buitl was the zeus serie 7 and 8 rated @ 600 W, 300 X2 @ 4 ohms but they are very underrated, one of these in mono at 4 ohms puts out over 1800 watts, no joke !! I have a colossus runing 4 1200Q in stereo and it pushes them hard,, really hard. 151.8 db if you want to chek it out.. http://www.cardomain.com/id/ambrocio
