HIfONICS AMPS What do you guys think?

People who own them, don't own them, anyone with any knowledge of them. I would like your opinions for these amps. I am about to build a system and want to purchase two of these amps, one for front Comps. and one for mono sub amp.

I have one givin out 600 rms, I have no idea if its overrated pretty sure not underrated, all I can say is that it's been reliable to me so far(had it since last november)

im on my third hifonics amp they are great amps good, cheap power.... even thot they are a little overrated they are still great amps...

i have 1 that supposedly puts out 1200 at 1 ohm but i really dont know what it puts out. Other than it overheating one time its been pretty reliable

They are decent amps, the only thing i really don't like about them is that they **** up the radio reception.

ALOT of mixed reviews about hifonics... alot say overrated while there's just as many ppl out there that say they do rated power and are great for the money, i used to have a 4ch hifonics and IMO it did very well for the price got hot every now and then but other than that a pretty solid amp

My Uncle has had a HiFonics Zeus amp powering his Fosgate Power Punch 10's for about 3-4 years now with no problems. He swears by them. I have yet to own any, but I have a couple on order as we speak.
I think you should reconsider using that particular amp for your subs, only because it's a class a/b amp which isn't as efficient as a class d.

Thank you SQ finally someone gave some technical info that i needed. I should have posted originally which sub I was going to use. I am going to be using the Alpine Type R 10" in a sealed box with the dual 4 ohm. So I will be hooking up a 2 oh amp.

My other amp choice was Alpine MRP M650 Pushing 600 watts rms at 2 ohms. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3739

I think it should be a good match alpine sub and amp they are probaby designed for each other.
