Hifonics Amp

When I have my 1606D turned up so its at about 750w the lights on the amp dim to the beat. Could this be because my ground is bad or is it just dimming because I'm still running stock electrical? (Amp is refurbished fyi)
How are you turning it up to 750w? Are you using a DMM and using the gain formula? Inquiring minds want to know.

It just seems weird that the lights on the amp would dim.. not sure
The lights are dimming because the voltage to the amp is getting too low. A bad ground could cause this but I would guess you probably have an old batt that might be going bad. There are several auto parts stores that will load test your batt for free.

First check/redo your ground, make sure to sand off the paint to make a good ground. If your ground seems fine then get your batt checked out.

Well the batt is not even a year old Diehard gold so idk. I'll try an check my voltage sometime cause I don't really have a place to go where I can just blast my shit lol
