Hifonics 1600 amp smoking

So i was on my way home and i noticed my box had slid back and a wire from the box had slipped out. I thought nothing of it and kep my music up, but soon i noticed my amp was smoking so i immediatly turned it down. when i got home i reinserted the misplaced wire but nothing happened. the blue lights on the amp come on like usual and the power light is on, but my subwoofers arent making any sound or movement. what should i do?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

oh and i have a Hifonics 1600 pushing 2 alpine type r's at 1 ohm

its a fairly new system and im new to this so any help would be appreciated..

yea i need to get some velcro....

but the wire has come out before, but it still played,,, so what should i do? ITs not playing anymore so should i send it back on the warranty?

are you talking about the speaker wire? if so the + and- wire might have touched and shorted out your outputs on the amp

When it is working, How does it sound? pushing 800rms to each type r?

thats the exact set up I am looking to upgrade to.

Im thinking 2 type r's @ 1 ohm with the brutus 1600. 800watts would be safe right?

wow velcro..... i believe its time to re think ure install. if ure box slides thats a serious problem. get some L brackets on all 4 corners. thats really all i have to say i believe i found my new sig
