hifonics 1500 brutus amp protect?

i just got a hifonics amp about a month ago and i have it hooked up to a kicker l7. they are running at 1 ohm and i just built a new box. all of the sudden my amp keeps going into protect mode. i dont know what is going on. it didnt do it before i built my new box but my old box box was smaller. do i need to set something different on the amp? any suggestions?

recheck your wiring, and ground. the same thing happend to me and so we sent it back and ended up getting a new one.

this same thing has happend to many others so your not alone on this one.

I can almost be 90% sure that your impedance of your new enclosure fell below 1ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif which in turn kicked the protect on.

i think i have the sub wired right. i had the sub wired the exact same way with my old box and it worked fine.

empidence of new enclosure???? are u serious? an enclosure doesnt change your WIRING impedence.
