I believe that it uses an 80a fuse...the 1500 uses two 60a...

Actually it came with 2 60 amp fuses, but they were supposed to be dual 80 amp... I might still have an e-mail from one of their support techs that says this.....

Are you sure that they just didn't send you an extra fuse but they came in the wrong size? But yes, it is supposed to be 80a. There should be no reason that a 1000w amp should have two 60 or two 80 amp fuses. (If that email is from John it's worth as much as the paper it's written on.)

My BX1000d is awsome no dimmage on a 90 apm alt. Of course its only running @ 2ohms.

It's only putting out 400w - 500w....I would hope you don't get dimmage.
