Hey,

2005 TOyota highlander, i could BARELY fit my RCA's on the passenger side, ( door seal? ) idk what to call it, but where the wires go up and down the car. but pretty much my 1/0 gauge there is no way it will fit on the drivers side, it comes through a hole right above the e-brake and can go down the side of the car but i would like it hidden somewhat, any ideas? tucking under the carpet just makes it look and feel odd..

Yeah thats why I didn't run mine under my carpet either.. I ran it under trim panels. Barely fit.. and its only 4 gauge wire.

No way 0 gauge is fitting there. I think Im going to run my new 0 gauge for my sub stage upgrade under my car... I dont see any other way around it. Going to do it within the next week or 2...

See if you can run it under the carpet next to the seat, or in the middle where the transmission hump is along side of it,Other than the suggestions being made..Under the vehicle is about the only other spot, and that would be the last place for me.

Run it under the car. Zip tie and use those things they put on brake Lines to hold it up every few inches. You can't see it if done properly and the wires will just get dirty but stay in perfect shape

thats the best place for it is under the car ran inside or along side the frame itself. It willl not hurt anything the coating on the wire is so thick it will be fine. Just be sure when you run it up through the cab in the back that you put some kinda rubber gromet or gasket type thing to keep the wire from being cut or scraped. yes it will get dirty but no one will ever see it.

Pull off the trim pieces where you step on, and remove the side panels where it holds in the seat belt. From there you should be able to run the wire without removing the seats.

^^^ This or just run under carpet i mean a lil bump in ur carpet is not going to be that noticeable nor would it look ugly sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Its all for the hobby!!!

always run power cables outside the car fool..frame rails and zip ties

Run from the BATT down under the car and drill a hole at the rear of the car with a grommet

or better yet make a bulkhead connection to your amp rack or power block

I put mine under the car, too. Inside some urethane flexible conduit for added protection. It was easier than yanking the seats and the molded carpet. Sealed the hole with RTV.
