HID help

I got this kit from ddmtunin.com bout 3 months ago i believe. I just got a chance to install them December. So probably dumb on my part but i've been busy with school and the weathers sucked. Anyways, they wont come on at all. I've tried it on another vehicle as well. Failed both times. I have the 9006 kit 8K with the 35W

ballast. Any suggestions? I'm tryin to contact them but they're emails are backed up.

Cliffs: Can 2 bulbs be defective in one kit?

What could be the reason my HIDs arent workin

my kit came with the bulbs and ballast.

yeah it is the plug and play kit.

i just plugged everything in like the manual said.

check the ground's for the ballast's that's what i would do ? check the actual bulb to a 12v source just to check see if it's the bulb's or wiring what i would do first

You tried them directly to a battery right?

or if you don't even wanna try em to a 12v battery cause afraid might be to much power. take a drill battery and get one run wire each side spade terminals coming off batt and try that just like safety percaution so not to much power going to bulb. But idk im still learning h.id. systems myself bro.

someone suggested runnin them straight to hte battery to see if they would light up.

take a t pin if there the plug in style touch a wire to that t pin to pos then do same for neg. side.

Are these bulbs like a normal headlight bulb, where if you touch the bulb they can die/break? If so, did you wear gloves?

i used the stock harness. and just plugged the bulb into the ballast then the ballast into the stock harness.

i did not touch the bulb. it had a clear cover over it and i didnt removed it yet.

x2 on what micah said you never touched the bulb with your hand did you? also did you drop the bulb or ballast maybe on the ground? not tryn be a smartass or nothing like that man actually trying help ya fig. this out.

Don't touch the bulbs with your fingers/hand. Take the bulb and ballast setup and touch the 12+ and ground directly to a car battery.

hmmm....did you try to remove the plastic cover then put the bulb into the headlight housing?
