hi level inputs v. low level inputs on kicker kx650.4

just wondering what the diff is and if its something i would want to put to use; my kicker has low level (170 mV - 5V) and hi level (340 mV - 10V) inputs. the hi level are weird looking.the low level are RCA, whats up?

High level inputs accept speaker wire outputs from the head unit. It's really only useful if your head unit doesn't have rca outputs. Otherwise, the rca inputs would be the best way to go.
