After reading up on the $150 challenge thread I saw that the HFX12s seemed to be rather surprising...for $50 a pair. I forget who it was but one guy had powered a pair of them with a Boss Onyx NX1800.1, and seemed happy with it for what he had in the set up. Iv decided to run the same setup in my ol work car. Its a 94 accord 4 door.
With that out of the way, Im going to save myself a good bit of trunk for my work gear, tool box ect, but can still get 3.93 cube for the pair back their (max= 32w x 18h x 15d x .75t) which should be pleanty for those two ported. Working with that, anybody with experence accords or these subs? Id like a rough idea of a set of plans at about 35hz. Im not a pro by any means, but if its on black and white, I can for sure build it, as Iv built a few sealed enclosures for my previous trucks.
This is actually my first trunk car, and actually have room to work with so Im kinda excited to use it, since Iv never had much of it haha.
Also what would you suggest as far as sub and port placement? I plan to have the box as close to the rear seat as I can, to allow easy access of all my tools and things in the trunk, along with that, it would work best if they were facing in the cabin, so nothing flies around and hits them, but I could cover them with grills if rear firing is advised. Its just a work car, it doesnt have to be fancy or anything. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
