What happened...?

Recently my subs just kind of started not hitting as hard as they used to. I probably over played them but I havent really noticed any difference in the sound quality. Maybe because it wasnt to great to begin with. Could they have gotten messed up from cold weather? I first noticed it a few days ago when everything on my car was frozen.

Might be time for a little upgrade..

If theres any correlation I noticed my door speakers acting up the other day as well, not sure why probably just cause theyre crappy stock speakers that I push to their limit... I already have a replacement for that though.

You sure it's not just because you're used to it? happens to me all the time... Any voltage drops lately?

Im pretty sure its not because im used to it haha. I mean I am used to it, but I know that it used to shake the heck out of my car now it doesnt seem like it is much at all.

No voltage drops I actually just had to get a new alternator my subs killed my stock one but this one hasnt let anything dim for me yet.

Could be a blown coil possibly... Other than that with no voltage drop it's all in your head.
Thank you. I'm gonna assume that until I can take them out and have a look. But I still agree that I do need an upgrade. Soon enough :/ I need something to run off my HFI1500d. Maybe a HDC3 15? I dont know yet...

check the settings on the headunitcheck the settings on the amp

check for any loose wires or blown fuses or bad voice coils

check for leaks with the sub or enclosure

check for voltage drop

check for panel resonance that could cause cancellation issues
Checked head unit already lol almost made that mistake.

settings on the amp should be the same? unless something vibrated a screw around and around.

Ill go through and check all my wires when I get a chance just incase, I already looked at all the amp wires.

how you can say such a nice sub and such a bad amp in the same sentence?
