hey you yea you come here

dont use the head unit. it will waste too much electrical from the battery.

get a heavy duty toggle switch to wire in to the remote wire on the amp to turn it on and off.

use an I pod cable to rca left and right going to the amp.

if you have a 4 channel amp - then run 2 channels to some "highs speakers" like 6x9s or something like that with a little tweet in it

and use the other 2 channels for something like a pair of 10" pa speakers. that are capable of producing a wide sound range

it will sound better and more full than using some car audio subwoofers that only do 30 to 250 hz

this is a portable stereo I made because I wanted a "old school" lookin boom box - but wasnt about to pay 800 bucks for a conion 100

its made from a pair of house speakers. 12" woofs / with mids / and tweets - and I even stole the internal crossover out of each cabnet

when I made this box for them. a piece of crap car audio amp is powering it I think its a "rockwood" lol

and its powered by a kenitik 800 battery. its amazingly loud - and its rechargable by the charge posts I made on the top of the box.

its got an on / off switch up there also that kills the negative side of the battery. I pod controls the music - and volume of it.

I had the battery left over from my vette when it sold - the amp was sitting in my garage - and I think I picked up the speaker cabnets from some ones front yard trash on bulk trash day. so ive got the cost of wood / and some wiring in it. it came out amazing

and if you got to hear it in person you would say the same thing.

but the down side is its heavy as heck. and there aint no way anyone would be able to carry it up on the shoulder like a old school boom box.

Get urself a red wagon and drag somethin like this behind ur trike.

Is ur tricycle red too ?!

lulz, thats cool and all but I really wanna see someone bass out a horse or a pony or something, yknow some comps up front, tweets on the nose and 6.5s on the shoulders for good imagine, maybe a couple 10s in some saddle bags, shit would bang so hard. plus it would be old school

forget the headunit, just use the crossovers on the amp, and some pa speakers are a good idea i would spray them with some weather proofing stuff just incase it see's a slight amount of rain because paper cones dont like rain
