Hey you evolutionists...

Missed your retort because this thread is moving so fast.
Spinning two tennis balls on a table is an erroneous rebuttal to what I posted, because you're adding your own energy to the equation. In the big bang theory, all the matter in the universe came from a single mass, and when it exploded, all that mass would go every which direction, still spinning in the same direction. There were no other forces to alter the direction in which the matter was spinning, except for the other matter, which was also spinning in the same direction.

I'm not saying that natural selection doesn't exist. Its proven that it does. I'm saying it's not a driving force behind creation.

Now I'm really leaving... got friends who just called me. Peace. Thanks for the good discussion.
Wow, I never expected i would have to further explain this to you. Let me ask you this, am I omnipotent since I can dd MY OWN energy to the universe? Hint: all energy developed from the big bang, any energy my arm exerts has been borrowed from the universe through chemical and physical properties.
Also, are you suggesting that planets and galaies spinning in opposite directions couldnt possibly have been affected by gravity post-bigbang? Your theory is pretty short sighted tbh.

i can't prove God is real to you. I never said i could and I won't try to. That's between you and God.As for God coming down and showing Himself to us the Bible is clear that if He did, it would be so overwhelming it would literally kill us. The bible also says He did this a few times and made some people "as dead men." Besides, why does God have to prove anything to you? Does God "need" you?
So this all powerful being has no way to make himself non-lethal to humans, is that your argument?

So I just have to take someones word for it? Devote my entire life and state of being on a chance that has no factual or sensible basis?
Why would you blindly follow something even if you realize that it makes no sense?
no you don't have to take someone's word for it. Its personal, between you and God. If you can't understand or don't wanna hear it because you can't "see" God that's between you and God. I will say if you go to God and say "show yourself" He will in some way at some time. Do I know how/when? no cause that's none of my business. Again that's between you and God, its personal!!!!! Get up in God's grill and see if He doesn't respond.

And I don't blindly follow God at all. I ask Him all kinds of questions often and he "speaks" to me with the answers. More importantly He gives me joy and peace in my heart.

well-said, except for the fact that God allows the devil to do alot. For instance Job. The devil asked God if he could do all that stuff to Job and God said yes. How dare God! and the devil still does this everyday to every believer. God must really think He's got it going on if He thinks believers will still believe with this known huh
Your God obviously doesn't care about individulas then. Time to start worrying about yourself maybe.
If God is truly all powerful, he created the flaws in our world for his own means. Why? Why create a species, hide from them, and then test them to see if they believe in you? What is God's purpose? Is he recruiting for something?

I don't think God created flaws, I believe He allowed them to happen. I believe alot of what goes on in the world breaks His heart but He will make it all right/just at the judgement. God does have a purpose, to love. He made us to love us. The problem is sin. We like sinning. Sin = turning back on God and doing what we wanna do. So we messed it up and the devil encouraged us to and still does encourage sin every second.

To all those who think that evolution is fact, read this http://www.godandscience.org/evolution/evolprob.html Even the scientist who were trying to prove evolution true found fault in there previous finding and admit that they were wrong on those specific findings. If you have questions about the bible or evolution do some reading before you posting up something we were all misinformed about. There are so many things that we are taught that we automatically think is right before actually doing your research first. Just because you think evolution is fact doesn't mean you should make your kids or the people you know dumber, that would go against your

THEORY.

Again God is all powerful, the Devil has no sway over him. So anything the devil did, God let him do. You can say thats not him creating the flaws in our world, but its damn close to it in anyone's book (and the same thing in mine). If you had the power to stop a murder but didnt, are you to blame? Why isn't your god?

God can accept the blame because when the judgement comes He will even the score. But it is not His fault that people make bad choices. Did He make Adam eat the apple? No. He allowed it and will make it right at the judgement. Besides God isn't fair in the human sense because He gives forgiveness of any/everything we've done wrong. So if anything the question I have asked God is how can you forgive my sins when I don't deserve it? I don't deserve heaven yet He offers it.

This is one of the reasons I dislike religion, it teches us that people are inherently bad, that we should hate each other if not for the divine intervention of God.
People make bad choices? You see a man with a gun walking up behind woman, clearly intending to shoot her. You know that you could safely grab the gun from the armed man's hands, do you? If you do not, are you to blame for her death, at least partially? If your God has the power to remove the weapon from the hand, or better yet create a world in which that hand never wants to hold such a weapon, is he at least not partially to blame for the death? Yet you tell me he forgives us for our sins.

He created this world, with all its tests and tribulations and flaws and pain... he created it, remember? Yet we are the ones to ask for his forgiveness for making choices we feel we must at the time. I ask why your god holds no responsibility for the evil of this world, and your reply is not to worry because he forgives us for all this evil. Circular logic that religions LOVE to use because there is no escape from it. If you have the faith to beliove in this circular logic, you are locked in.

Did God make Eve eat the apple? Nope. But why in the world did he put the apple there in the first place? Why would he create a species with individul choices, and then lead them down a life of one test after another just to define themselves to their creator? Circular logic on the highest scale.

Logic.

A Believer's worst fear.

just curious? if we came from apes, how the fuk are there still monkey's roaming the earth?
We didn't evolve from modern monkeys. We just have a common ancestor that we both evolved from.

http://karmatics.com/docs/evolution-still-there-are-monkeys.html

an important point to understand:

Before I continue, though, let's clear one thing up. It is natural to think of humans as "more evolved" than other animals, but this isn't true in any scientific sense. We are differently evolved, simply adapted to a different environment. It so happens that our intelligence, and the culture and technology that it spawned, has turned out to allow us an unprecedented degree of success, and the ability to live in environments that our ancestors couldn't. But evolution didn't somehow anticipate this.
The point is, evolution is only "directed" in that it favors survival, it does not favor high intelligence or walking upright or use of tools, unless those features aid in the survival and passing on of genes to the next generation. Other animals, for instance mosquitos, don't seem to be suffering for lack of these human-like capabilities.
