Not sure on a monster like that, but if you take a 9 volt battery and hook it up to the leads, the cone should pop out and drop back in when you let off which means you have +and-right. If the cone pulls in, the polarity is reversed.

Lol. Ok i dont know what i did but i had the terminals mixed up. I took out the sub and looked at the terminals and dont understand how i mixed them up.now that everythingis put together i got my gain set to 1/3 since im really not a good tuner. Now i realized that i might need to face my port inward. When my tailgate window is up its louder.

i guess checking 2x is not good enough. a real rookie. good thing i got a solid sub. i really wonder will my mb 1600 be able to push this sub to its limits . i think i need more power but cant tell yet since i cant drive it hard until its broken in. i already had plans on replacing the amp once i got some more money. anyone knows a solid amp that does rated at 2k under $300

A 300$ "2000W" amp will not give you any audible gains over the MB quart you have (which is already plenty capable of breaking that woofer if you're not careful)

nope, ran one at .5ohm daily for a little bit and it did fine. Clamped it 1186watts @ 1.8 ohm @ 13.5 volts. Rated at 1300watts @ 2 ohm @ 14.4 volts

So you dont believe the mb quart does rated....**** thats the reason i got it. So how much power from this amp im really looking at? Turned up 3/4 my volts dont go under 13.3 and thats stock everything besides the big 3. I was thinking i could sneak a brutus 2400 in there. I just hear they are really power hungry. So I got a guy to get me some dead red tops for $20 a pop plus im upgrading my alt from 80amps to 130. If you guys were to do it what amp would you get and why.....no price limit

The mb quart has been proven to do rated. That ppi has been proven to do rated, and the one I posted has been proven to do rated as well.
