hey help me pick some subs

hey dudes i have an aiwa cdcx227 amd i want to get an amp and some subs to kik up the bass. I have sony 6x9's 3 ways and they produce excellent low-midbass but i want soemthing on a lower frequency. i dont need like two 15-s just a pair of twleves and an 800 watt amp or so. reply if u have any good brands or prices or whatever.....thanks alot

you can prolly run one sub and an amp for 300 but two subs wit an amp to push those, impossible to get that setup for 300.

Legacy/Pyramid is more like a 150 dollar install

Try This

Kicker Comp VR2 15" = about 140

JBL 600.1= 205 shipped

JBL 300.1= 145 shipped

Either amp will work just fine, the advantage with the 600 is it will leave more options for the future. This also dosent include box or wires, so figure that in too!!

I would have to say: JL 12W3 or W6 and a JBL 300.1, then buy a box....you might even want a W0....

id say a jbl600.1 with 2 12 inch compvrs the whole setup is about 400$

ok here ya go get a pioneer 760w amp and run 2 12" kicker comp or maybe vr's if you can afford and build your own box o and order a 4 gauge amp kit for $30 knukoncepts.com

id take ramos's idea of the shiva, but get a jbl 1200.1 and wire it in parallel to get 600 watts at 4 ohms. that way, you still have room for another shiva if you wanted to. And the shivas are at http://www.adireaudio.com and they go for about 125 shipped from the dealer.
