Hey guys,
I currently have a rockford fosgate p400.2 amp and a 10" JL audio W3V3 SVC 4 ohms subwoofer, i know the RMS on the sub is 300 and max peak is at 600 watts. My amp has an actual power rating of 489 watts of total RMS power. will that be too much power for the sub or should i exchange my 10" W3V3 SVC4ohm for a 10" W3V2 DVC 4 ohm which handles 400 Watts RMS and a peak of 800 Watts Max. What do the pro's suggest?
