Hertz Mille MLK165

ive heard both in the same vehicle, off the same power the hi energies were louder, but he was only doing like 100x2 from a arc amp
to me midbass was better on the mlk165's, tweeter was smoother, just an overall cleaner speaker

but the hi energy is one of the best components in that price bracket ive ever heard
Was it an active or passive setup? For active that should be plenty. My Iridiums and Zapco's have been on a PDX 4.150 with the gains turned all the way down and they got darn loud, but they can definitely take more so I'll be turning the gain up and setting them accordingly once I get the rest of my system in.

your speakers make the poppy poppy

Im think of getting some Hertz Mille MLK165.
You live in Pasadena, hmm. I'm in Arcadia. If you would like to audition my Zapco CK's, let me know. I drive to Pasadena to visit my grandfather and go through there for work every day. If you're thinking about a set in that range I would consider these too to get different options. I called up several dealers and I got a variety of price quotes on them. All ranged from 800 - 950. The one for 800 I think was in La Crescenta.

yea were working on a big hertz/audison system in a 07 santa fe, mlk165s in front and hsk165 in the rear, and fiberglassing 2 10s in the back, easily one of the best sound systems ive heard

What are these speakers for, and i mean for SQ or are they for everday listening? Does anyone own them here? Where can you buy them in the states?
Hey Cangri what's up. I'm at Ft.Stewart and Savannah is right there, and I have the MLK165 in my Scion TC running them active with a Audison LRx4.1 and a

DEH-P800prs. So if u want to hear them pm me and i'll give u my number. Yes, these are SQ speakers, but they get plenty loud aswell.
