Hertz HSK 165 - Fake/Real?

I recently purchased a set of Hertz HSK 165's on eBay without doing my due diligence (research). These came in from Malaysia, and I think they're fake, but can anyone verify?

First, the box - it is a flimsy cardboard, single layered. The text on the back is all kinds of wrong:

But the speakers themselves look real (to me). They have serial numbers on the crossovers and mids:

What do you think? Have I been had? Seller says the box literature on authentic Hertz products such as the MLK series have misspellings/grammar issues - is this true?

I was thinking about buying these exact speakers and haven't pulled the trigger due to the fact that they are from Malaysia. I was curious to see if they were older model Hi-Energy set. However, I was unable to find this line/look of Hi-Energy. Let us know what you find out as to whether or not they are real. Worst case hook them up and see how they sound.

Will do. I emailed Hertz tech support so I'll let you guys know what they say. I too am hoping it was cheap due to being a discontinued older model. Stupid me didn't see they were from Malaysia until after I placed the bid.

I tried emailing two different addresses for Hertz but haven't gotten a reply unfortunately. I guess I can try calling...but I think I'll go ahead and install these and hear for myself.

My company sells hertz the product looks 100% authentic, i never really look at the boxes but it really looks legit.
Would you be able to check the boxes and/or instruction manuals of the Hertz products you sell, and let me know if there are spelling/grammar errors?

Most probably a fake. I don't have old HSK 165 in the store. Only HSK 130 - but no spelling mistakes. Why i think it's a fake? Compare the crossovers with photos of the original one (type hertz 2w20 and do google images). Check the precision of your crossover. In Hertz everything is symetrical and there is different font in "C1" & "C2". Hope it helps. Sorry for bad english.

Awhile ago I sent an email to Hertz asking for the location of Hertz dealer in CA, NV, CO, UT, AZ, NM....Thy never replied. Then I called and left a message. I never received a phone call either. I just moved onto my other speaker choice.
