Hercules Vs. XA3000D

I found one for 850 plus shipping, but he couldn't ship right away and decided not to sell in the end....didnt you say your MM4000 was 4000@2 ohm....because that seems that it would cause less strain if I could run it at .7 for burps instead of .35

i have a Powerbass and mine was benched at i think it was 2830 at 1ohm @12.somethin V jus to throw in my opinion...and yea the only problem they have is make sure whatever you are securing them to doesnt move alot or vibrate alot...thats what breaks em...strappin em to box and such bangin shit loose

all one has to do is do a search for my powerbass 3000 thread to see WHY they have problems with literally falling apart.

As far as amps to consider, there are a ton of used ones in the classifieds, im sure one will fit your bill.

Personally id stay away from the Autotek line for competition, 80% of the people i know who run them for competition have "autoprotect" problems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif .... and their scores reflect it.

I also own a Z1, and a powerbass so I think I have perspective on them, and ive used mm4000's in compettion before, so im not just spouting any of this blindly or in any bias. Id not buy a Z1 ever again, ive had nothing but issues with mine.
