I want to spend around 850 or so. The 2000-3000 strapped are in that range and so is a 4000 mono. Ive thought about it and cant seem to decide yet.

in street a i would definitly try and get close to the maximum amount of power my wallet would allow.

Well I could get as much as I want, but it just how long I want to be paying....Im thinking of getting a cyclops for now and then another when I get a chance. But I cant decide between a cyclops (4000@1) or 2 hercules (4000@2 strapped) since I dont know how much different they are.

i would go with the cyclops for now its more power,and later you could add another 1 in street a,if you went with the 2 herc's strapped you would be at your limit in street a,and the cyclops is strappable also.

Ok, I ruled out the Cyclops due to only being able to get it down to .7 nominal. So back to the original. Both pairs at .7 strapped(.35 per)

your sub is dual .7's ?or dual 1.4's

the best power for the dollar will be the powerbass. it does 2700@ 1 ohm on 12 volts. both the 3000d and hercules are .5 ohm stable. i'd go with the power bass.

Dual 1.4 and I read the Hercs will do ~5000 strapped not sure on the load or voltage though....any confirmation on that ?

so strapped your amps will see either .7 each or .35 each

also you have to take into cosideration all this will take place with your motor off.

They will see .35 per amp nominal. And the 5000 watt hercs were at .33 strapped so (.175 per amp)

Yea I know about the motor, but I figure I will be ok since everyone else is doing the same. I want a Z1, but they are a bit out of my range.

i personally dont think the herc will go that low without popping into protect,with your engine off.
