HELPPPP my car is turning off b/c it isnt getting enough power

Ok my car keeps turing off when i have my system on with other electronics. the lights dim extremely then the cars RPMs just drop and nothing electrical works. i have a 1000.1 kicker amp. i also have a capacator. i need some advice. would i be able to put a spare battery in place of the capacitor or should i just upgrade my alternator. i have a 70 or 80 amp alternator now im not 100% sure but it 1 of those. if i should upgrade my alternator what amps would you recommend.

I need to know asap thanks.

take the cap out, do the big 3 wire upgrade, add a 2nd battery if you still have problems

1000watts isnt THAT much.

You should not be having trouble w/1k.. I ran 1500+ on a single battery, big 3.. & it was fine.

Just get rid of tha cap, do tha big 3.. & if you still got trouble, get a 2nd battery..

Are you sure your battery up front isn't ****ed?

i went to auto zone and they checked my battery and my alternater

the battery wasnt in the best condition but it was still good and the alternater was good 2

You disconnect one of your battery cables and use a multimeter to check for current flow between the batter terminal and the disconnected battery cable, it should be minimal with the car off.
