Ok i'm getting two Audiobahn aw120t 12" subwoofers and the a power handling of 1500 watts R.M.S. and i need to know what tpye of amp i should get for my subs.
The AW120T's are only rated at 500w R.M.S. a piece. Like a always warn buyers of audiobahn do not buy below the 05 series speakers. The speakers below the Ultra excursion series are cheap speakers meant to target new comers to the sub market and try and overwhelm them with more chrome than boom and SQ. Now if you were talking about the AW1208T then they are dual 2 ohm speakers. I would personally recommend a pair of A12001DT's or two A2150HCT's. There are other better amps out there for those speakers but im just an audiobahnaholic so i usually buy audiobahn. You could run them easily off of a single 2300HCT or 2200HCT though you would only be putting out about 600 per subs that would be more than enough in a large ported box which is recommended. Just make sure your getting a AW1208T and not a AW120T. YOu could also get a A4125HCT which would put out 1000w x 2 @ 1 ohm.
