Somehow I doubt that. Kicker coils are weak, overheat easy. Don't want to go off topic though.L7 15 will if it's the 3 inch coil I think it is. Must be clean at all times.
If you care about SQ go with a JL slash or HD series amp. Won't matter how good your subs are if your amps lack SQ.Had the CVX12-4 - Kicker Comp VX 12" 1500 Watt Dual 4 Ohm...if they dont I had no idea thats just what I thought which is why im here, and two mono hifonics amps, it was very loud, just wanted better sound quality
Stay away from hifonics, they will get you bumping but the sound quality is not good. Kicker is usually not associated with sound quality either. You will want a good amp a soundqubed 2200.1, crescendo bc 2000, dc audio 2k, etc... you will want decent SQL subwoofers that get loud and sound good. Id recommend a pair of SSA Gcon 12s. What makes or breaks a subwoofer is the enclosure its in. You buy a cheap amazon/ebay/premade box, its gonna sound garbage regardless of how good your gear is.I had a huge problem with over heating. Like I said idk much about this stuff, just looking for suggestions, any recommendations?
What about Helix, Brax, mosconi, audison, TRU, ZED?If you care about SQ go with a JL slash or HD series amp. Won't matter how good your subs are if your amps lack SQ.
Need full budget. Again you need acoustical door treatments and a 4 channel amp along with adequate sized wire iin your budget too.Any suggestions for speakers?
TRU yes but the rest are about the same.Too expensive.
I will agree the slashes sound better than the HD's. I've heard a few DD amps and maybe I'm just spoiled by the slash amps but I wasn't all that impressed with the DD SQ, but they were also prefab boxes so I can't say I don't like DD with 100% certainty. I do like the way their components sounded.TRU yes but the rest are about the same.
I was in between JL and DD amps and for a few months. Always used slash amps but only HDs would fit. I went DD. Power and foot print is better. To my ears they sound better also. Not slash amp good but better than the HDs.
