Need help with a box design. If there is one thing I don't know its making a box : ( Not too happy about that. So I want to make my first box. I have two DD 9510's laying around that need an enclosure. How do I go about making the perfect box for these things? Any box/enclosure tips and tricks to help me out would be greatly appriciated. If I can get an actual design that would be amazing. Thanks guys!

Hey man, take it upon yourself to learn how to do it, many people come in here and just beg for a design, learn to do it, or pay someone that does. I would guess since you have developed a "Business Name" and logo for yourself it would be in your interest to learn.

That thread is also pinned at the top of the forum section, take time to watch the videos and enjoy, its really not as hard as it seems. You will learn how you can do the math and design the box, and then how to actually lay everything out in 3d before you build. Enjoy!

I just can't find anything on the particular subwoofer that want to build it with. The DD 9510s. Not sure where to find the specs. Not on their website : /

Good luck, it's always a good project building your own enclosures. Not only if done right will it sound better in the end, but you'll be much more satisfied with your overall install.

No Problem, Lol. I've heard not to listen to DD specs before though. True?

The first box I built for my 9515 was to spec and it worked out pretty well. But for the type of music I listen two, my second build tuned about 4 Hz lower than suggested, and I really liked it there.

Yeah see that's what I don't want to run into.. Making a box that's not going to sound the way I want it to. Thanks for the help though man.

Unfortunately the nature of our hobby is that it sometimes requires multiple tries. Honestly though, don't overwhelm yourself, too many people spend all their time posting on the forums, asking what will be better. In the end all you get is a ton of conflicting information. No matter what some "know it all" is going to tell you your numbers are wrong. Every car is different and everyone's application is different, just get yourself a ball park area, build and test, more times than not you will likely be satisfied with the result. And then you will actually have something to use rather than scratching your head at a computer screen.
