Ok, I have two cvr 10's running off a 1200 watt 2 channel amp. I hooked them up on their own channels and according to a friend that split the ohm load which made them do hardly anything. He said I need to bridge the 2 channels together and "chain" the subs on the bridged channel. It would be easier if they were SVC but they're DVC so there are two positives and negatives on each sub. So, how in the world do I do this?

Dual 4 ohm subs, right now wired for 2 ohms though but that can be easily changed

Sounds like you have it wired right. Each sub is wired to 2ohms and then connected to each channel right? Looks like that amp will only go down to 2 ohms per channel, so seems right. You could bridge the amp and wire the subs together at 1ohm, but it should be the same amount of power per woofer.

Yea I thought it would be right but apparently isn't, the description said it was a stereo 2 ohm stable amp. So I assumed it would hold the ohms it was currently set up for but apparently not

it seems as though you have it set up right, just check all the connections make sure nothing is loose or not hooked up

prolly the amp then ,1200 watts is max ,so your prolly getting 300 watts rms .what size fuses are on the amp

But it should be running 2 ohms and its rms at 2 ohms and 2 channels is 500 watts

yea the amp says 600 rms at 14.4 volts but if your voltage is 12 volts you'll be around 450 rms .not a very good amp tho sorry to tell you

cant bridge the 2 channel to 1 ohm, that would blow that cheap amp up. But you could bridge it to 4 ohm which would be the same as running 2 ohm per channel

check ur gain, also what size of power wire do you have?
